Digital Platformer, Inc. completes migration to the latest version of the ISMS standard “ISO/IEC 27001:2022” and obtains certification for the cloud security standard “ISO/IEC 27017:2015

Digital Platformer, Inc. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Kazutaka Matsuda) has recently completed the transition to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the latest version of the international standard for information security management systems (ISMS). We are also pleased to announce that we have acquired ISO/IEC 27017:2015 certification, an international standard specifically for cloud security, as of April 24, 2025. This indicates that our information security system now complies with the latest international standards and is even stronger and more reliable, including measures in the cloud environment.
ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard that specifies requirements for the establishment and operation of an organization’s information security management system (ISMS), and has been widely adopted by companies and organizations worldwide. In ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the latest version of the standard, information security management measures (annexes) have been reviewed and enhanced in light of recent trends in cyber threats and technological innovation. We were among the first to complete the transition to this new standard, and we continue to work on continuous improvement of our ISMS.
ISO/IEC 27017:2015 is an international standard for information security management in cloud services, providing additional controls and guidance for cloud-specific threats and risks. By obtaining ISO/IEC 27017 certification, we have received third-party assurance that we are implementing internationally recognized high-level security measures for the services we provide and the data we manage in the cloud environment.
We have positioned the protection of the information assets of our customers and business partners as one of our highest management priorities, and have continuously worked to strengthen and upgrade our information security system. The completion of the transition and acquisition of the certification are proof of the objective recognition of our excellence and high reliability in the field of information security. The registration numbers for the certifications obtained are “ICMS-SR0380” for ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001:2022) and “Cloud-SR0380” for cloud security (ISO/IEC 27017:2015).
